new blog, new me (hopefully)

August 21, 2019

When summer hit, I thought I’d have so much motivation to improve my blog and put tons of effort into my content. But, in actuality, I lost all motivation altogether.

*Cue the violins*

Then I got an email from Blogerize, asking if I would let them redesign my blog for me. I was a bit sceptical to start with – it all sounded a bit too good to be true, but I’m so glad I said yes.

I’ve always seen myself as a tech-savvy Gen Zer, but when it comes to self-hosting sites, themes, and blog design, I am absolutely clueless. The people at Blogerize explained everything to me in detail, gave the pros and cons, and helped me find a good plan.

Despite my cluelessness, I had a bit of a vision when it came to my redesign. Blogerize really took on board all of my suggestions and showed me multiple designs before they actually implemented the theme for me.

And… I’m so happy with how it looks! I keep sending my boyfriend links to it like “LOOK! IT’S GLORIOUS!” It’s such a huge improvement on my blog design before, and I never would have been able to do it without help.

Blogerize also offer free online courses for clueless bloggers like myself, so check them out for tips on monetizing and setting up your blog.

I’m hoping that having a fancy blog will make me want to clean up my content and get motivated to post a bit more. Pray for me.

It’s great that they offer online courses too! I know so many people struggle with that kind of thing. I think your blog looks great! x
